• the region of use (usually a country)
• any regional restriction (such as a state, region, or city)
• the quantity that the unit describes (e.g. capacity)
• if the unit is a capacity, whether it is dry, liquid, or both
• the definition factor (e.g. 1.2345)
• the precision of the factor (e.g. 6 digits)
• the definition units (e.g. meter3)
• the usage, if applicable (e.g. for land, for wheat, etc.)
• the period during which the unit was used (e.g. from 1873 to present)
• the url of an online reference, if possible
• if there are two names (or spellings) for the same unit, which one is preferred
• any special comment that describes the unit (e.g. "Named after Nikolai Tesla")
